The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is really simple - What ever you think about you create. What the movie/book "The Secret" and others fail to explain is that most of what we think is unconscious so that means we don't know what we are thinking most of the time. It is like driving a car- do you think about that? So much of our lives are really just programming from our past.

Whatever is happening in your life right now is a result of your beliefs. Your beliefs create your thinking and those turn into actions. If you don't know what your beliefs are just take a look at what you have in your life and see if you can guess what someone might believe that has that in their life. Your beliefs were created in your early years of childhood through things like attachment and bonding with your parents (or other caregivers) and through relationships with people such as teachers, family members and the community.

When you think about that and apply it to your thoughts, feeling and what you have in your life, the implications are far reaching. It can also be really painful to finally see this in yourself. (It was for me.)

Your thoughts and feelings are just energy. The thing is that most of our thoughts are unconscious. We don't know what we are thinking. How often do you think about driving the car or how the electricity gets to the light when you turn on the switch?

To begin to see what your unconscious thoughts are, you need to get more in touch with your feelings. Your feelings will tell you at any given moment what you are thinking - well you might not actually get a conscious awareness of that thought but your feelings are just a guidance system to tell you when your thoughts are off track.

There are only good and bad feelings. Good feelings will tell you that you are working from your higher being. Bad feelings such as anger, sadness and depression will tell you that you are reacting to a false belief that you adopted at an early age.

When you are having a bad feeling the amazing thing is that you have a choice although not always easy. You have a choice about what you are thinking so you can change your thoughts and change your feelings.

When you can do that, you will have the life that you desire - the wealth, health, love, success, relationships or anything else your heart so desires.

And that is the key - tapping into the desires of your heart - not the things you tell yourself you have to do to be a good person or to please someone else or make someone else like you.
