Taking Action
Taking Action is sometimes talked about as a fourth step in the law of attraction, but people mistake it for the key to making things happen. The key really is in believing that anything that you ask for can be received and allowing things to happen. The actions you take can take you closer or farther away from your target. Learning to take actions that are in tune with your emotional guidance system as the Hicks talk about in their book "The Law of Attraction" is what is really what it is all about. If you take action with the idea that you need to be doing something or that you should be doing something, it is taking action from a place of lack. If you take action that is in tune with your inner being your emotions will let you know if it is the right thing to be doing. Often we are not in touch with the actual feelings we get in any one moment especially when we are under stress. We have gotten to be so accustomed to turning off feelings thinking that it is helping us function better at work or in relationships. The more you can get in tune with your feelings and understand that it is your feelings that create thoughts that lead you to taking action, you can begin to understand the mechanics of the Law of Attraction. In one way actions are what allow us to receive. When your actions are in harmony with your thought and inner being you will feel joy. Anything else is telling you that it is not the right action. If you find yourself just doing things without any hesitation or second thoughts what so ever, it is most likely action that will move your toward your desire. If you start second guessing yourself or procrastinating or are having a hard time making yourself do something it is most likely not for you.
