We are a result of the choices we make

So often we get caught up in feeling depressed, anxious, sad or just downright hopeless. These feeling are all really a result of making the wrong choices.

When you are feeling down and hopeless it is difficult to even see any other choice. The feelings of depression, anger and hopelessness are a result of your beliefs and your perceptions of the way things are. They are a result of accepting what others tell you, what you may read about something or what you imagine. The thing that is hard to realize when caught in a 'dark' phase is that you have a choice.

Since your feelings are created by your thoughts, you do have the choice of thinking something different to get a different feeling. The hard thing is to make the choice.

When you are feeling like there is no other way out, it is hard to stop feeling sorry for yourself or stop feeling lonely or what ever it is that is getting you down. The thing is when you keep focusing on the problem or the bad feeling you only get more of it. You can start thinking differently. You can start wondering what you can do to make your situation better. You can start asking 'what if' - what if I could get out of this hard spot? What if I could change things? What if there could be a different way?

See how that lightens the feeling? It is all about the feeling and learning to create your feelings rather than be a victim to them or being a drama queen.

Choice are a part of taking personal responsibility for your thoughts which is taking responsibility for your actions. When you can make the choice to stop blaming the world and others for your life, you can begin to see the gift of the law of attraction.
